About Fort McDowell Adventures
Fort McDowell Adventures is located on the spectacular 25,000 acre Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation just east of Scottsdale Arizona. We are the premier outdoor activity and event venue in the state and feature the Sonoran Adventure Center, six unique event venues, and The Wild West Experience. We've been hosting groups from around the world for more than 18 years.
Fort McDowell Adventures has maintained its uniqueness, beauty, and character by refusing to compromise the properties integrity by continuing to market to groups only. We can accommodate groups of 10-2,000. We've hosted 1,400 guests for a sit down plated dinner at La Puesta del Sol and intimate cowboy cookouts for groups of 10, cattle drives for 400 and teambuilding events for 20. No matter what size your group and no matter what the occasion, Fort McDowell Adventures has the experiences, venues, and staff to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Individuals are welcome for trail rides through the Verde River. Our stables operator, Troy Haviland, has been on property with us for over 16 years and houses 100 horses and cattle. The Stables at Fort McDowell Adventures is one of the finest stable operations in the entire Southwestern United States. Our 1 ½ hour ride through the ever flowing Verde River is our most popular ride.

"Thank you! The meeting last night is still receiving rave reviews from the attendees. Every comment is positive and appreciative of the great job that you and your staff did on the food, beverage, ambiance and hospitality. It was with great reluctance that I sat down at my desk this morning, longing for La Puesta del Sol and the sweet refrain of a cowboy singing on horseback!"

"I would like to thank you and every member of your staff for the fantastic celebration you created. All of the "special touches" that you added- the valet parking, the flautist, the Yavapai dancers, the anniversary cake with our logo, and last but not least, the fireworks made our event a "One of a Kind". "The best party this town has had in years"! Your attention to detail was outstanding and the execution of every aspect was flawless! It was a true pleasure to work with you and your staff." Rebecca
